Falcons 'Strike Out Cancer'

First base makes an out during a benefit game for Pancreatic Cancer.

On Friday, both the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School and Shaker High School softball teams traded their usual royal blue uniforms for purple to increase awareness of pancreatic cancer.

The Bisons and Falcons  in honor of long-time and beloved umpire John DeFlumer, who passed away from the third deadliest cancer this past fall.

The teams raised $800 to fund pancreatic cancer research and education.
