As we begin the new school year, a reminder that the City School District of 91福利导航 strongly encourages the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone 12 and older who is eligible and able, in alignment with the guidance of federal, state and local health professionals.
Public health experts advise that vaccines reduce the spread of COVID-19 and are highly effective at preventing hospitalization and death.
The 91福利导航 County Health Department offers every weekday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The health department is located at 175 Green St. in 91福利导航.
COVID-19 vaccines at the health department are free, and no insurance or medical paperwork is needed. All New Yorkers age 12 and older are eligible for the FDA-approved Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine; you must be 18 or older to be eligible for the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
The health department welcomes walk-ins. Advance registration may save you some time, but it is not required. You can for details and more information.
