Greetings, Falcon families! We hope you are enjoying winter break!


News of the week

  • Welcome back – 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School will be back in business this Monday, Feb. 26!
  • Basketball playoffs – Our boys' (Sunday) and girls' (next Thursday) basketball teams are getting ready for the Section 2 playoffs! Come out and support them at their games!
  • Falcon jazz next Friday – Once again, 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High's amazing jazz ensembles have a community gig at Spinners on March 1 from 7-10 p.m. Stop by to hear some great tunes!
  • A word about June 4 – 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High will be administering the Algebra Regents on Tuesday, June. 4. Only students taking the exam need to report to school on that day.
  • Sign up for spring sports – This spring, the City School District of 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ will field a new girls' flag football team, along with boys' tennis, baseball, softball, track and field (boys and girls) and lacrosse (boys and girls). Registration for students in grades 9-12 began Feb. 11 and must be completed - including physical documentation - via Final Forms.
  • Intramurals underway – If you are interested in participating in baseball, softball, lacrosse, football or tennis workouts, head to the the Athletics page for registration information and the schedule. Please note changes to the schedule for tennis workouts.

Important reminders

  •  – The 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ Booster Club is seeking adult volunteers to staff the concession stand during home athletic games. 
  • Next Gen Barbers is open for business  Students, staff and community members can get haircuts Thursday and Friday afternoons from from 1:15-2:45 p.m. at Abrookin. Cost is free for students, $5 for staff and $10 for community members, and an appointment is required.
  • Student ID reminder  Please see this important information about student ID cards.
  • Free salon services for 55+ – Attention 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ residents age 55 and up: Get free beauty services from aspiring beauticians every Thursday at 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High!
  • Leaving school 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School is a closed campus. Students are not allowed to leave campus for any reason without parent permission. This includes during lunch and study hall. If a student has an appointment, i.e. doctor, medical, family matter, etc., they must have a note or phone call from a parent giving permission to leave. All students also must be signed out by a parent in order to leave school grounds. Students who leave campus without a valid reason will not be allowed to re-enter without parent contact.
  • Traveling to and from Abrookin  All students must take the bus to and from Abrookin Career and Technical Center and the main campus for any classes. This will prevent students from being late and having to go back through security, and ensure student safety. Students who do not take the bus will not be allowed to re-enter without parent contact. The bus is available at Building 2, Stair 2-2 and at the Abrookin entrance.
