Media arts students shine at festival

The work of four 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High students was recognized at the 2024 Capital District Media Arts Festival at Niskayuna High School on April 23.

The honor showcases the creativity, innovation and talent of student-artists in different categories and the submissions were guided by 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School teacher Theresa Story.

This festival is sponsored by The Capital Area Art Supervisors and The New York State Art
Teachers Association and was developed to provide students with a venue to explore and share their creative efforts in the media arts.

A panel of art educators from each school reviewed and selected the work for the show. Sixteen
participating schools submitted film, photography, animation, computer art and graphic design work. There are 180 works on display, and just under 90 minutes of film in the 2024 festival.
