Fifth grade worked with a 1-2 class on Thursday for
It’s March 14 – or in the math world Pi Day – so our students paired up to celebrate!
They first measured the circumference and diameter of the cookie and then calculated the ratio of the circumference/diameter which approximately equals 3.14.
After the hard work was done, the students enjoyed their circle confection and another great collaborative lesson.
