Technology students complete eggciting challenge

A student conducts a lab in Technology class.

This week Melissa Hirt’s Technology classes have been tasked with designing a container that will protect life-saving supplies (represented by an egg)

As in real life, the teams were plagued with supply-chain issues - both tools and materials - and had to get creative and improvise while building a module to complete the assignment successfully.

After testing, the prototypes will be evaluated and analyzed and, in some instances, redesigned based on the students’ findings.
