Lab teaches students and supports PTSA

There is always something good getting cooked up in Larry Drew’s Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) class and this week it’s going to a great cause!

On Thursday and Friday, eighth graders peeled, sliced, diced and chopped vegetables and sausage and fried the ingredients together, with some spices, to make delicious homemade homefries!

The students will sample half of the end result of this “lab” and donate the second half to this Sunday’s Myers PTSA fundraiser, the Myers Mixer. Details can be found in
