Our school-wide was a wonderful collaboration of leadership, creativity and fun!
We kicked off the event with the Black national anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” courtesy of grades 1 and 5. Our guest speaker was Jammella Anderson, who founded the Free Food Fridge project. We finished with grade-level presentations about notable and history-making Black Americans whose dedication, hard work and success has made 91, New York State and the United States more equitable for all.
