to take a look at a typical day of learning in Amanda Anderson’s second grade here at Sheridan Prep!

Students spent Friday morning continuing their studies of holidays around the world, learning about the nine-day celebration of Las Posadas.

After a group reading about the holiday, students worked to identify key facts from the informational text, including the importance of the poinsettia to the celebrations. This gave students the opportunity to practice their artistic skills as they crafted paper versions of the holiday plant.
